About Us
Action for Climate Change is a not-for-profit organization that aims to address climate change and environmental sustainability issues in Pakistan. While theoretical discourse remains important, we believe that the present circumstances call for a more practical, action-oriented approach. As a result, we engage and influence stakeholders from both private and public sectors to opt for decisions that are environment friendly and sustainable. Action for Climate Change follows the T.R.I.P.L.E approach, focusing on fostering green and sustainable discourse in the fields of Technology (T), Research (R), Innovation (I), Policy (P), Law (L), and Entrepreneurship (E) in Pakistan.
Through the multifaceted T.R.I.P.L.E Approach, we envision a greener future for Pakistan where all stakeholders not only understand the urgency of addressing climate change but also actively engage in implementing environment-friendly solutions. In particular, our focus is to bring together all actors that can assist a transition in Pakistan’s energy sector from fossil fuels to green energy.

While technological advancements are necessary for the development of Pakistan. Increasing dependency on non-renewable energy sources poses extreme risks to the environment. Environmental sustainability and economic growth must go hand in hand. We aim to support Pakistan’s energy transition by promoting greener, renewable alternatives. In addition, we seek to advance sustainable technology by facilitating dialogue and collaboration among key stakeholders
Research
Climate Change is a fast-materializing reality. It is essential that appropriate research is done to understand the various aspects of Climate Change. As such, Solution-oriented research remains our priority as we focus on finding new ways to solve the emerging environmental problems.
Innovation
News ways of addressing the problems of climate change have become a necessity. For this we value innovative sustainable and green solutions. The focus is to develop new products, technological advancements, and ways that can help us mitigate or adapt to the changes of climate change.
Policy
Public involvement is integral in our aim to secure an environment - friendly and sustainable solution. For that reason, we engage with policy makers in Pakistan to highlight the greater harms of climate change. and advocate for responsible, forward looking solutions
Law
Law has an important role in every aspect of our lives. But the fast-changing realities of the modern world are making it very difficult for the legislative process to keep up. Our focus is to constantly assist the legislative process in Pakistan to keep up with Pakistan’s international commitments and obligations by prompt and effective legislation within its domestic arena. We also focus on assisting the courts on matters pertaining to significance regarding the environment.
Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship is the key to ensuring prosperous solutions. Our focus is to make sure that businesses in Pakistan are made sustainable and environmentally friendly. For this we try to hold expo-exhibitions and run awareness campaigns for stakeholders. Our objective is to give awareness and convince stakeholders to opt for more sustainable practices in business across the globe.
