How to save the world's forests with carbon credits

Pakistan is increasingly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, including extreme weather, deforestation, and rising temperatures.  A number of national organizations and policy frameworks have been established to tackle these challenges. From government-led climate policies to non-profit environmental initiatives, these efforts aim to reduce emissions, promote sustainable practices, and enhance resilience. This section outlines key institutions and strategies working to address climate change in Pakistan.

The main goal of this professional association is to maximise the role of environmentalists in restoring and conserving the resources. It aims IS to aid the environmentalists by conducting seminars or conferences and connecting them to the national organisations and through the development and implementation of policies.

The development of this Framework for Implementation of NCCP is a follow-up of the National Climate Change Policy (NCCP), the parent document providing a broader framework concerning how to adapt to the changing impacts of climate and how to play a role in its mitigation. The goal of the policy has been to work on various vulnerable sectors including the forestry sector and protecting the ecosystem.
